ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship Course Overview Part 1 w/PJ Michel

Welcome to episode 177 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swimrun Podcast!

We’ve got something new for everyone this week. As we start wrapping our heads around gearing up for another ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship, we thought it would be helpful to do a deep dive into the course and share a more granular course overview. We will be splitting the course overview into three parts. For this first episode (of three) we will be breaking down the course from Sandhamn to the start of Nämdö.

Joining us for this discussion is our friend Pierre-Julien Michel. He’s a super experienced Swimrunner, has raced ÖTILLÖ three times, and he gave us some righteous advice before our World Championship last year that was super helpful.

Before we get to the deep dive, this episode is brought to you by the new dryrobe lite.

We want to introduce you to the brand new dryrobe Lite. The dryrobe Lite is the latest cutting-edge innovation from the makers of the original outdoor changing robe. Spoiler alert: it’s awesome!

What makes this new dryrobe so cool? Well it’s made using repreve fabric and 37 recycled bottles. It’s also super packable compared to its more “substantial” original dryrobe. What else makes it cool? It looks dope!

The dryrobe Lite is available now from dryrobe.com. Go further with dryrobe Lite!

With that, let’s get right to our discussion about the first third-ish of the legendary ÖTILLÖ course.

Enjoy!
